Who I Am
Jack Steitz
Aviation has also been a part of my family for generations. My grandfather had his pilot's license, and my dad has flown as well, So flying is something I've always felt connected to.
After graduating from high school, I decided to pursue aviation full-time. I have now been flying for the past four years and hold a Private Pilot Certificate with an Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot Certificate, and Certified Flight Instructor Certificate. I am also qualified to operate complex and high-performance aircraft.
I want to help others experience the same excitement that first inspired me to become a pilot. I believe flying should be both challenging yet also enjoyable. My goal is to provide personalized instruction that helps each student build the knowledge, skills, and confidence to become a safe and capable pilot.

I offer instruction in the area around the Northeastern Illinois & Wisconsin border, I am based near Kenosha and am able to meet at other local airports as well.

My flight instruction rates are as follows:
Discovery Flight – $200
Flight Instruction – $60/hr
In Person Ground Instruction – $60/hr
Virtual Ground Instruction – $50/hr
Aircraft Rental – $160/hr wet

With its stable handling and flight characteristics, the Cherokee 140 is a great airplane for learning the basics and building confidence as a pilot. It's perfect to develop strong fundamental flying skills that will carry over to more advanced aircraft later on.
